GC100 is a polypropylene woven fabric. It is manufactured at one of Synthetic
Packaging Ltd facilities that have achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification for its
systematic approach to quality. The construction of the groundcover fabric
makes GC100 ideal for use in both greenhouses and outside applications. Can be used
from professional growers, as well as small gardeners, for cultivation of
fruits and vegetables, for weed control (*), in gardens or parks landscaping,
in orchards or nurseries. GC100 conforms to the property values
listed below:

2. Values reported in weaker principle direction. MD indicates Machine
   Direction and CD indicates Cross Machine Direction.

 (*)      It is necessary to make a specific preparation of the ground
with pesticides, before installing the groundcover, to increase the weed
control efficiency. You can’t use pesticides after installing the groundcover,
because that will reduce the life endurance of the fabric. Some weeds are very
difficult to eliminate, so you must consult an agriculturalist. Thrace Plastics
gives no guarantee about total elimination of weeds at the places that the
fabric is being installed.

(**)     The life endurance of the
fabric is expressed in kLy to 50% of retained strength. 140 kLy is
approximately equivalent to 1 year exposure to Southern Spain. The above
endurance values are based on indoors quality control tests, in a weathering
accelerator (QUV Panel), and cannot be compared with outdoor exposure values.
Any comparison is only an assumption and Thrace Plastics gives no guarantee of
that. Also we cannot accept any responsibility of the conditions of use,
because these are beyond our control. Use of chemicals, pesticides, insecticides,
even the chemical structure of objects in contact with the groundcover (e.g.
pots) may result in chemical degradation of the fabric. Degradation may also
occur faster than expected due to environmental parameters, unusual
conditioning and climate of the covered area.

(***)   The standard widths of the
groundcover fabrics are 105, 210, 330, 420, 525and the standard lengths are
100, 200, 1000, 2000 linear meters.
